COURSE OUTLINE
This course is a specially prepared blended English course for students studying medicine or doctors working in hospitals / private practice / institutions.
There are 20 modules (see below) and these are supported by four classroom sessions of 4 hours each. There are also ‘live tutorials’ in addition to the continued support of the teacher / tutor throughout the course.
Students have access to the online material for 6 months so they can access extra material even when the classes have finished.
OBJECTIVES
The course is designed to help the participants practise reading / listening / writing / speaking within the context of medical work. There are vocabulary exercises also, plus written and speaking tasks assigned by the teacher.
A B2 level is the recommended minimum level to take full advantage of the course but the principal idea is to acquire and apply knowledge to be able to use English ‘within a medical context’.
